This is the beginning of getting my website back!

My personal blog began as a wordpress site way back in 2013. I brought over those posts to an octopress site by 2014/2015 as I entered the web dev fray. In making my own statically generated website, I got to know and love front-end development.

My personal website sat there from 2015-2019 kinda dormant, but there. And then I lost my domain! I forgot to renew my domain and lost it to someone who sniped it from me. I suppose I had enough SEO and web traffic to look lucritive enough.

Angry at myself I sat on my desire to get my website back and not wanting to essentially pay the ransom for buying it back. So I waited. And this year, 2024, my domain became available again. I snagged it back and put it on my todo list to make a website again... only this time, with more than 10 years of career, adventures, etc. I have more interests I want to share and write about. So here we go.

This time I'm trying vitepress now that I'm living in vue-land. So here we start...
